The notes for these 2 chapters (1 and 13) are very informative and helpful for Exam 1 and just personal knowledge!
MAN3025- Week 2 Notes (Chapter 2)
These notes cover the first portion of Chapter 2 (Management Theory) that includes the Two Perspectives of Management (Historical vs. Contemporary). Within the Historical Perspective, there are 3 categories of viewpoints including Classical (Scientific Management and Administrative Management), Behavioral (Early Behaviorists, Human Relations Movement, and Behavioral Science Approach), and Quantitative (Management Science and Operations Management). Within the Contemporary Perspective, there are also 3 categories of viewpoints including Systems (Quality Control), Contingency (Quality Assurance), and Quality-Management (Total Quality Management). Very useful study tool for Exam 1!
